Part lecture, part workshop, this garden class will first teach general identification, care and propagation techniques of the most popular herbs grown today. Next is a workshop where you will design and create your very own herb container garden to take home. Tools, pots and herbs will be provided.
Classes are intended for participants 16 years and older unless otherwise noted. (Centennial Farm is open to the public, but we ask that you do not leave your children unattended on the farm.)

About the speaker: Leah Matsuoka is from the family owned Laguna Hills Nursery in Santa Ana. She works with her parents to produce high quality plants and soils for home gardens.
