What are The Red Barn dinners? They are a series of farm-to-fork dining experiences in Millennium Barn in Centennial Farm at the OC Fair & Event Center. The chef and menu will change with each event.
How much is the dinner and what does it include? The cost may vary per event but will include dinner, alcoholic beverages, parking, gratuity and tax. The Nov. 4, 2017 event is $125 per person.
Is the food organic or seasonal? Some offerings may be organic and we will do our best to offer seasonal and locally grown items – even some from Centennial Farm.
Who is creating the dinner? The event’s featured chef will direct the preparation of a spectacular culinary offering.
Will there be diet-specific offerings or substitutions? The menus will vary with each event but no substitutions can be made due to the nature of the preparation.
How should I dress? There is no specific dress code. The cocktail portion of the event takes place outside and the dinner is held in the barn, so dress accordingly. Since we are on the farm, comfortable footwear is advised.
Is the event rain or shine? Yes.
What does the price of the dinner go toward? Support of the Red Barn Dinners at OC Fair & Event Center provides year-round educational opportunities through Centennial Farm, Heroes Hall and Imaginology and helps fund our community give-back programs.
Are children allowed at The Red Barn Dinners? While there is no children’s menu or discount, children are allowed with a ticket. Due to the length of these events and seating arrangements, children without a ticket are not allowed (including infants and toddlers).
Are there any refunds? Since this event has limited seating, we are unable to offer refunds. You may transfer your ticket to another guest.
Can I rent Millennium Barn for an event? Yes! Please contact email@example.com.
Can my company sponsor or donate products to The Red Barn events? Yes! Please contact the sales team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I be a featured chef? Please send an email to email@example.com.
Can I bring my own food or alcohol? No outside food or alcohol is allowed.
Is smoking or vaping allowed? No.
Which OC Fair & Event Center gate do I enter? Come in through Gate 1 located off Fair Drive near the intersection with Fairview Road in Costa Mesa. Simply show your Ticketmaster printout to the parking attendant and mention that you are attending The Red Barn dinner.
