OC Fair & Event Center’s September 2018 events


♦ Sept. 1-3 ♦ 35th Anniversary Great Labor Day Cruise

One of the largest and longest running events in the nation, offering a 1.25-mile cruise route and featuring more than 1,200 classics, street rods and muscle cars, plus food and family fun.

Hours: Friday, noon-6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
How much: General admission $15 / 3-day pass $30 / Children 11 and younger are free. Parking is $8.

♦ Sept. 9 ♦ 26th Annual OC Black Chamber Banquet

Honoring the USO’s 76th anniversary, Cal State Fullerton’s 60th anniversary and PBS SoCal’s 45th anniversary at Heroes Hall and the Hangar.

Hours: 6-11 p.m. (Early VIP check-in at 5:30 p.m.)

♦ Sept. 9 ♦ Pacific Symphony’s Tchaikovsky Spectacular

End the summer with a bang! You’ll enjoy this famous romantic composer’s greatest hits along with Rachmaninoff’s lush Second Piano Concerto performed by the freshly minted Gold Medal winner of this year’s Van Cliburn Competition. And to cap off the evening, the electrifying “1812 Overture” – complete with cannon sounds and brilliant fireworks – will have hearts racing and spirits soaring.

♦ Sept. 15-17 ♦ Sand Sports Super Show

This year’s event will feature more than 300 vendors and exhibits with the latest and greatest of what the sand and off-road industry has to offer. Many of these great companies will be launching brand new products at the event.

The world’s largest one-day charity car show will feature more than 3,500 vehicles on display and more than 200 vendors and exhibitors. Be assured that your participation in the event and any donations go directly to prostate cancer research.
