June events at OC Fair & Event Center


COSTA MESA (June 2018) – There are several year-round events happening this month at OC Fair & Event Center. Here’s what’s on the calendar.

June 1, Fight Club OC

Fight Club OC brings boxing and MMA together on the same night inside the same ring.

Hours: 7-10 p.m. (Happy Hour specials at Baja Blues from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.)
Admission: $60, standing-room only tickets are $30 and sold after seats sell out; parking $8

June 3-4, Crossroads of the West Gun Show

This two-day gun and western Americana show features guns, accessories, tactical gear, ammunition, safes, personal protection products and more.

Hours: Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Admission: $18 general admission ($16 advance online), seniors $17 ($16 advance online), children 12 and younger are free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parking is $8.

June 3, 8th Annual OC Open Martial Arts Tournament

Orange County’s Premier Martial Arts Tournament will feature competitions open to all styles, ranks and ages. Traditional and sport karate, Chinese arts, stick fighting and sport Muay Thai/kickboxing will be included.

Hours: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Admission: $10 general, children 5 and younger are free. Parking is $8.

June 5, Community Discussion: OCFEC Master Site Plan

You are invited to share your thoughts, vision and ideas as OC Fair & Event Center embarks on the development of a 10-Year Master Site Plan. Attendees will have the opportunity to win free admission to the 2017 OC Fair.

Hours: 6-9 p.m.
Admission: Free to the public

June 10, OC Funk Fest

OC Funk Fest brings its third year of original funk featuring performances by Zapp, S.O.S. Band, Lakeside, Evelyn Champagne King, Chocolate Milk and more. Pre-party in the Plaza Pacifica features music by Gap X Band & Stone City Band plus food trucks and merchandise vendors.

Hours: Pre-party starts at noon, show 3-10 p.m.

June 11, BrideWorld

Shop and compare 150 bridal salons, florists, photo booths, photographers, disc jockeys, wedding venues, invitations, vintage decor, custom invitations, romantic honeymoons destinations and more.

June 16-18, OC Night Market

OC Night Market is back! Presenting LET’S PLAY Summer 2017, with hundreds of food, merchandise, arts, crafts and entertainment options for one of the biggest food festivals of the year.

Hours: Friday-Saturday, 4 p.m.-midnight; Sunday, 4-11 p.m.
Admission: $5; children 6 and under are free. Deal alert: $3 admission on Friday, 4-6 p.m. Parking is $8.

June 17, Bugorama

Bugorama will feature a Classic Car Show offering several awards for all types of Volkswagons. The event will also feature aftermarket VW parts vendors, used VW parts swap meet, food and more.

Hours: 6:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Admission: $15 general; $5 children 12 and younger; and children 5 and younger are free. Car show entrance is $20 which includes driver and car. Swap meet space is $40; includes 1 adult and 1 space. Parking is $8.
