With hundreds of virtual and in-person camps to choose from, Camp Newport has just the activity to keep your child engaged all summer long! This summer your little adventurer can explore life under the sea in an Ocean Adventure Program or discover their creative side in a themed Lisa Albert art camp. Sign up your imaginative child for one of their Bionerds science camps or a virtual Strategic Kids camps that features unique topics like magic, chess, origami and more. The Reptile Zoo has provided the community a unique educational facility which houses reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids from around the world. Orange County Head Start, Inc.
The overall goal of Head Start is to bring about a greater degree of “social competence” to children and their families. Social competence refers to the everyday effectiveness in dealing with both present environment and later responsibilities in school and life. Children and families leave Head Start more confident in their own abilities and ready to succeed.
Oak Canyon Nature Center
Oak Canyon Nature Center is a 58-acre natural park nestled in the Anaheim Hills. A year-round stream meanders through the park. Consisting of three adjoining canyons, four miles of hiking trails traverse one of the few remaining areas of oak woodland and coastal sage scrub in our region. Native wildlife makes the canyon their home and is just waiting to be discovered. Also located on site is the John J. Collier Interpretive Center, a small museum with live animal and regional natural history exhibits.
Vital Link is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing students for their future careers through experiential learning opportunities. Located in Tustin, they offer programs that introduce students to the world of robotics, engineering, manufacturing, healthcare and medical, computer programming, digital media arts, automotive technology and much more. Through these hands-on programs, Vital Link inspires students to feel confident and excited to pursue a fulfilling career.

The Coder School
The Coder School is a year-round after-school enrichment program that teaches young students how to write computer software, create their own video games, websites and apps. They maintain a very low ratio of only two students with one instructor, which allows them to customize a unique curriculum for each student, based on their experience, how they learn, and what they are most interested in learning.

Black Girls Code
The Black Girls Code vision is to increase the number of women of color in the digital space by empowering girls of color ages 7 to 17 to become innovators in STEM fields, leaders in their communities, and builders of their own futures through exposure to computer science and technology. Sensory Impaired Guidance Network
Sensory Impaired Guidance Network helps individuals who have hearing impairments (deafness, hard of hearing, auditory processing disorder), vision impairments (blindness, low vision) and sensory processing disorder (common in those with autism). They provide education, tools, and resources so their clients can move towards independence through health, safety and productivity.
Del Oro Pacific Large Scale Modular Railroaders
The Del Oro Pacific operates the oldest and largest “G” scale modular layout in the United States. Their layouts have been displayed at the California State Railroad Museum, Knott’s Berry Farm, the National Garden Railroad Convention and train shows throughout southern California and San Diego.
Orange County Module Railroaders
Members build and maintain modules that can be assembled with modules built by other members into a large, operating display.

Wolf Corp. Robotics
Wolf Corp. Robotics FTC Team #12525 and FRC #8336 from Walnut High School have been participating in robotics competitions for eight years. Their mission is to become a good role model for other children to work as a team and get involved in Robotics and STEM education. Wolf Corp. currently attends two types of competitions which are the First Tech Challenge and First Robotics Competition. They design, build and program robots from 30 to 100 pounds. Last season, they won the Connect Award at the 2020 LA Regional Championship Tournament and advanced to the World Festival in Houston.

Orange County Scroll Saw Association
Their purpose is to promote, teach and share in the fun and fellowship of scroll sawing. The club is open to all ages (including youth!) who have an interest in scroll sawing and at all skill levels from beginner to expert.
Orange County Model A Ford Club
The Orange County Model A Ford Club, established in 1961, welcomes as members anyone that has an interest in the 1928-1931 Model A Ford. Their interest can range from curiosity about the car to restoration and ownership of a Model A. The club promotes having fun with the Model A Ford. Ownership of a Model A is not a prerequisite to membership!
The Orange County Model “T” Ford Club
The Orange County Model T Ford Club is a chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America. Founded in December 1958, the Club is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the Model T Ford, “the car that put the world on wheels”. Over 15 million Model T cars and trucks were manufactured and sold between 1908 and 1927. Their members own over 100 Model Ts that they enjoy driving, working on, and sharing with the general public. They hold monthly general meetings, restoration and technical workshops, and driving tours. The website has additional links to information about the Model T Ford.
Harbor Soaring Society
Harbor Soaring Society – a remote controlled airplane club, is the oldest AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) Chartered Soaring club in the United States. Our members fly scale, sport, aerobatic and 3D airplanes, helicopters and multi-rotors. HSS has a very complete intro program for people wishing to learn how to fly. Your first lessons are free, HSS will furnish an airplane, radios, batteries and the instructor at no cost to the student.
Adafruit was founded in 2005 by MIT engineer, Limor “Ladyada” Fried. Her goal was to create the best place online for learning electronics and making the best designed products for makers of all ages and skill levels. Adafruit has expanded offerings to include tools, equipment, and electronics that Limor personally selects, tests, and approves before going in to the Adafruit store.
