Community Entertainment

Every year, we feature community entertainment at different stages every day of the OC Fair. These bands and dance groups perform for free for our guests. View the 2025 Community Entertainment Handbook.

The application period for Community Entertainment has now closed.

We are still accepting applications for the waitlist. You will be contacted directly by the Entertainment Supervisor via email if a time slot opens up. If you have any questions, please refer to the 2025 Community Entertainment Guide.

COMMUNITY ENTERTAINMENT APPLICATION

Selection criteria

Due to the volume of submissions we receive, not all applicants will be accommodated. Submission of an application is for consideration only and a performance date or time is not guaranteed. Previous performances at the OC Fair do not guarantee stage time in 2025. Each application for performance time during the Fair is given consideration by the Community Entertainment Department on the following basis:

  • Completed application received by the posted deadline.
  • Performer availability during the open dates and times.
  • Overall appeal and unique nature of the performance.
  • Appropriateness of the performance for the OC Fair audience.
  • For returning applicants, past performance and adherence to OC Fair policies and procedures.

What to expect after applying

If you have been selected to perform, you will be contacted in May.

Please do not call, email or reach out via social media to check on your booking status. We receive a high volume of requests and will respond when information is available. If your availability or any information changes after submitting your application, please notify the Community Entertainment Department immediately.

By May, all selected performers and performance groups will be contacted via email. Applications received by the deadline that are not selected for a performance slot will automatically be placed on the waitlist on a first come, first served basis and will be contacted directly if a performance slot is vacated.

All selected applicants will be required to conduct a Megan’s Law screening for all performers and crew members aged 14 and over.

Please review the Community Entertainment Handbook for any questions.

REMINDER: Advance ticket purchase is required for ALL GUESTS

If you have been accepted as an entertainer, please ensure that your fans, friends and family purchase their tickets online and in advance of your performance. Tickets will be available for purchase soon.
