What is this promotion exactly?

In an effort to continue to support the We Care Wednesday program despite the OC Fair being canceled this year, we’ve partnered with Goodwill of OC to host a one-day event at its stores across Orange County. On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, bring your donations to Goodwill stores and receive 1 FREE 2021 OC Fair admission ticket voucher and 1 FREE Wahoo’s taco voucher, per vehicle. This offer is while supplies last, so it’s best to go early!

I’m busy on July 22. Can I bring my donations to Goodwill on any other day and get a free 2021 OC Fair admission ticket?

No. This promotion will only be offered on one day – Wednesday, July 22, 2020 – during store hours. Please check the location list to be sure the store you bring your donations to will be hosting this promotion.

What donation items are accepted?

Goodwill accepts clothing and accessories, housewares, small appliances, furniture, and electronics (working or not working). For more specific information on donations Goodwill accepts, please visit https://www.ocgoodwill.org/stores-donation-center/.

Is there a minimum amount that I have to donate to receive a ticket?

No. The only limitation of this offer is 1 admission ticket voucher per vehicle or donation trip, while supplies last.

Can I bring my donation to a small Goodwill donation center?

Smaller Goodwill donation centers are not included in this promotion. Only Goodwill stores, meaning the locations with physical buildings, will be partnering in this promotion. Orange County’s 20 participating Goodwill locations are listed above.

What if the Goodwill near me is closed? How can I get a free OC Fair voucher?

Goodwill is continuously re-opening more and more of their locations. Orange County’s 20 participating Goodwill locations are listed above.

Is the OC Fair “on” this year?

Unfortunately, no, the OC Fair has been canceled for 2020. However we will be hosting several elements of the Fair virtually this year. Stay tuned as we bring you more slices of the Fair through our website and social media channels.

What if I lose my ticket? Can I get a replacement?

Unfortunately, if you lose your ticket voucher, we cannot offer a replacement for this limited one-day only promotion. Be sure to hold on to your ticket vouchers and keep them in a safe place! We’ll see you in summer 2021!
