The OC Fair is proud to present the featured exhibit

The Art of Music Experience

Located in the Huntington Beach Building

This experiential exhibit inspires people of all ages to discover and appreciate the stories and creators behind album cover art. Revised this year, fairgoers can explore iconic album covers and learn about the creators behind the art. The exhibit features more than 100 hand-painted recreations, neon and displays, a themed cocktail lounge, a pop-up record store and interactive experiences.

HISTORY AND LEGACY OF THE ART OF MUSIC COLLECTION

The Art of Music Experience exhibit showcases hand-painted large-scale reproductions of album covers, renderings of legendary musicians, neon signs and displays. Each piece was custom-made by skilled artisans to suit a specific location and creative vision, ensuring that every work is a unique and carefully crafted representation of the art of music. These hand-painted displays adorned rooftops, storefronts and clubs, and were commissioned by record companies to promote new releases and capture the attention of passersby. The Art of Music collection and the artisans of Art & Sign have left a lasting legacy by preserving these hand-painted large-scale reproductions that were used to market album releases in a pre-digital world. The Art of Music Experience exhibit celebrates this legacy and invites visitors to explore the creative process and impact of these historic works of art.

The OC Fair showcases California’s talents and uniqueness in various exhibits and displays.

Exhibition buildings close at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
