Fun, sun and surf set the backdrop for Catch A Wave’s recreation of the 1960s Beach Boys. Sporting unbelievable nostalgic detail, this act revives the vintage Beach Boys experience right down to the white instruments, blue-and-white striped shirts and sun-bleached waves of hair – all evoking that uniquely Californian harmonic surf-pop sound recognized around the world.
Established in 2001, Catch A Wave is the original true-to-form Beach Boys show that many have tried to imitate without quite measuring up. From Los Angeles, California just like the Beach Boys themselves, this incredible show transports you straight to a live Beach Boys concert circa 1964 to 1969, with a little “Kokomo” from 1988 thrown in for good measure.
