Heroes Hall Speakers Series: From Demolition Diver to SEAL Commander: A 30 Year Legacy | Things to Do in Orange County

Veteran Capt. Thomas D. Weaver, USN, shares his experiences serving in the U.S. Navy’s premier special operations force as a member of the SEALs.

Providing unique insight into the origin of Navy SEAL teams, Weaver will discuss his path, from underwater demolition teams to becoming a Navy SEAL. Topics will include the rigorous training standards required to be selected as a SEAL, how that training was applied in Vietnam and Weaver’s subsequent career, which spanned more than 30 years before he retired as a special warfare officer with eight commands within the special warfare community.
