COSTA MESA (Jan. 28, 2019) – Events happening in February include the annual Tet Festival and the first Gem Faire of the year.
♦ Feb. 8-10, UVSA Tet Festival
The UVSA Tet Festival is back for the Year of the Pig at the 38th annual Vietnamese New Year celebration. The event is run by volunteers consisting of high school and college students, young professionals and parents. It will feature food, entertainment and more
When: Friday, Feb. 8, 4-10 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 9, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 10, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
How much: $6 general admission. Parking is $9.

♦ Feb. 15-17, Pacific Coast Sportfishing
The 10th annual Pacific Coast Sportfishing Tackle, Boat, and Travel Show is Orange County’s fishing show for everyone from the beginner to the hardcore angler. Bring the whole family as there will be food and a trout pond for the kids.
When: Friday, Feb. 15, 1-7 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 16-17, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
How much: $15 general admission; free for active duty military (with ID) and children 12 & younger. Parking is $9.

♦ Feb. 16, Heroes Hall’s 2nd Anniversary & Exhibit Grand Opening
The public is invited to Heroes Hall for a free celebration commemorating its second anniversary and the grand opening of Victory From Within. POWs Emerson, Oldewage, Roberts and Miller will each be honored during an opening ceremony. Refreshments, music and tours will be provided.

Pro boxing meets pro MMA in one big event, featuring 14 VIP suites and happy hour specials before the event begins.
