November 2021 events at OC Fair & Event Center


COSTA MESA (Oct. 27, 2021) – Discovery Days are returning to Centennial Farm, and this weekend OC Fair teams up with Brew Ha Ha Craft Beer Festivals for Boo Ha Ha – A Haunted Oktoberfest. Plus, OC Fair & Event Center will host several events in November, including the return of Night of Lights OC.

Discovery Days at the Farm

Oct. 28, Nov. 2, Nov. 8, Nov. 16, Nov. 18

Discovery Days at Centennial Farm are open to the public and perfect for group visits. Docents are on hand to answer questions during your self-guided tours and there will be extra activities to help students learn about agriculture.

Hours: 9 a.m.-noon on select days starting Oct. 28 through 2022

Where on the fairgrounds: Centennial Farm, enter at Gate 1

OC Boo Ha Ha – A Haunted Oktoberfest, Oct. 29 & 30

In partnership with the amazing Brew Ha Ha Craft Beer Festivals, this event will feature unlimited beer tasting, live music, costume contests and ghoulish decor. Live music includes Lit with special guests MEST and Handsome Devil on Oct. 29 and A Flock of Seagulls with special guest The M80’s on Oct. 30.

Hours: Friday & Saturday, Oct. 29-30, 6 p.m.-midnight

The Original OC Swap Meet, Oct. 30

This event was created to provide a space for local small businesses and the community to come together in an outdoor setting. The swap meet showcases products and goods for all to buy and enjoy.

Hours: Saturday, Oct. 30, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The SDCCU OC Running Festival, Nov. 5-7

The SDCCU OC Running Festival is known as a celebration of the Southern California fitness culture, showcasing two days of events, miles of entertainment and memories that last a lifetime. New in 2021: all half marathon participants will receive a pullover jacket in addition to their race t-shirt and finisher’s medal.

Schedule of events: OC Lifestyle and Fitness Expo – Friday, Nov. 5, 4 -8 p.m. & Saturday, Nov. 6, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; OC 5K – Saturday, Nov. 6, 4:30 p.m.; Half Marathon -Sunday, Nov. 7, 6 a.m.; Finish Line Festival – Sunday, Nov. 7, 7 a.m.- noon

Sugar Plum Arts, Crafts, Antiques & Collectibles, Nov. 11-13

Celebrating 43 years, Sugar Plum is the biggest family-owned arts & crafts show in Southern California. They offer thousands of handmade crafts from more than175 artisans, personalized gifts and ornaments, holiday clothing for both men and women, beautiful jewelry, holiday decorations for your home and garden, shabby chic, country farmhouse, rustic and vintage furniture & palate-pleasing delights.

Celebrating Veterans at Heroes Hall, Nov. 11

Join us for the SAAAB (Santa Ana Army Air Base) Exhibit Reopening Ceremony which will include an All-American Boys Chorus performance, Marine Corps birthday cake cutting and kids activities.

Fight Club OC, Nov. 11

Pro Boxing & MMA live inside The Hangar. The most fun you can have on a Thursday night in the OC!

Hours: Thursday, Nov. 11, 7 p.m. (happy hour begins at 5:30 p.m.)

Flying Miz Daisy Outdoor Vintage Market, Nov. 13

Shop Orange County’s premier Outdoor Vintage Market just in time for the holidays. You’ll find vintage, antique, repurposed, farmhouse, industrial and hand-crafted artisan goods. Live music, food and beverages will be available.

Repticon, Nov. 13-14

Repticon Los Angeles is a reptile event featuring vendors offering reptile pets, supplies, feeders, cages and merchandise as well as live animal seminars and frequent free raffles for coveted prizes. 

Hours: Saturday, Nov. 13, 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m. & 1:15-4 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m.-12:45 p.m. & 1:15-4 p.m.

Where on the fairgrounds: Huntington Beach Building

How much: Online tickets are $10 general admission, $5 children ages 12 & younger, free for children ages 4 & younger. Parking is $10.

OC Fair Board of Directors meeting, Nov. 18

OC Fair’s Board of Directors typically meets monthly via Zoom and in person at OC Fair & Event Center. The agenda and location for this meeting will be available later in the month at ocfair.com/public-information/public-meetings.

The public is invited to watch or participate in Board meetings via Zoom or in person. The meetings, which begin at 9 a.m., will also be recorded and posted on our website afterward.


Progressive IMS Outdoors, Nov. 19-21

Holiday Brunch Charcuterie Workshop at the Farm, Nov. 20

Charcuterie boards are all the craze! So why not make your own beautiful board? Every charcuterie platter will be a work of edible art with a wonderful combination of flavors –sweet, salty and a bit spicy for a well-rounded board.

Night of Lights OC, Nov. 26-Jan. 2

After last year’s sold-out event, Night of Lights OC is back! Don’t miss a magical and interactive Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru Experience. From the safety and comfort of your own vehicle, guests will be guided through a mile-long course featuring more than one million dazzling lights, themed holiday scenery & immersive vignettes, characters and dancers, animated light shows, light tunnels, snow flurries and more.

Hours: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Sundays, 5-10 p.m.; Fridays & Saturdays, 5-11 p.m.

How much: Tickets per car start at $39 for general admission and $59 for VIP (early bird pricing, limited supply)
