Spend Time On A Farm and Give Back to the Community – Volunteer Opportunities at Centennial Farm at the OC Fair & Event Center

Costa Mesa, Calif. (March 10, 2011) – For those who enjoy spending time outdoors, educating children and supporting agriculture, Centennial Farm at the OC Fair & Event Center has year-round volunteer opportunities available.

Volunteering at Centennial Farm is a great way to have fun while educating children and giving back to the community. Volunteer positions are open to individuals 18 or older who can commit to one day a week Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Centennial Farm volunteers conduct up to two farm tours a day, teaching local students about everything from the farm animals to the vegetable gardens. Tours start at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. On-site training is offered to all volunteers.
