OC Fair & Event Center Opens Application Periods for 2017 OC Fair Performers & Vendors
Costa Mesa, Calif. (November 14, 2016) – Planning is underway for the 2017 OC Fair and vendor and entertainment applications are now being accepted. The 2017 OC Fair, July 14-August 13, is a unique opportunity for bands, soloists and dance groups to showcase their talents and vendors to offer products to the one-million-plus attendees that visit the annual Fair. Both applications are for consideration-only and are available at ocfair.com. Deadline to submit is March 3, 2017.
Vendors who want the best spaces to sell their tangible goods and products or generate leads for their business should consider the Platinum Partners program which offers locations throughout the Fair with the best exposure. Details and the required online application are at ocfair.com/vendors.
Other opportunities for vendors through the Commercial & Concessions program include:
* Merchants: Sell tangible goods or products, or promotes business/service (lead-generating).
* Concessions: Food and beverage. Mobile food kitchens required (Tents and food trucks are not permitted.)
* Green Gate Village: Must be a monthly vendor of the Orange County Market Place. Follows same guidelines as merchants.
* Independent Amusements: Novelties, souvenir merchandise, foot massage machines, photo booths and animal rides and exhibits. Mechanical rides and games are booked through our contracted carnival company.

For performers, there are multiple performance times on multiple stages daily through the Community Entertainment program for dance troupes, bands and soloists. Participation in the Community Entertainment program is unpaid. Each application for performance time is given consideration by the Entertainment Department on the following basis:
* Completed application received by the posted deadline
* Performer availability
* Overall appeal and unique nature of the performance
* Appropriateness of the performance for the OC Fair audience
* For returning applicants, past performance and adherence to OC Fair policies and procedures

The 2017 OC Fair is July 14-August 13 (Wednesday-Sunday) and will feature 23 days and nights of free community entertainment, food, rides, shopping, exhibits, animals and headline performances in the Pacific Amphitheatre, nightly music in The Hangar and adrenaline-inducing events in the Action Sports Arena.
