Imaginology Competitions
This year, there will be four main competitions for students to enter.
The competitions are open to all Southern California youth in grades TK through 12, including special needs. Each student can enter one (1) project per division.
Please read and review the 2026 Imaginology Competition Guide prior to submitting your online entry form and for more information about the new entry process.

Mural Project
Incorporate STEAM (science, technology, arts, engineering and math)-based ideas into your mural.
Students can work together on large sheets of paper or canvas, or each student can make their own piece that will be placed/collaged together for the final mural display.

Cardboard Engineering
Incorporate STEAM (science, technology, arts, engineering and math)-based ideas into your project.
Cardboard can be used to make any number of things and it has amazing strength when layered. What will you dream up to create?

Poster Art
Incorporate STEAM (science, technology, arts, engineering and math)-based ideas into your project.
Create a work of art using STEAM ideas!

Upcycling Project
Reuse, reduce and recreate! Upcycling is the process of converting old or discarded materials into something useful. Sort through your closets, recycling bins or hit yard sales and create something amazing.
