Brandi Carlile and Tchaikovsky Spectacular headed to Pacific Amphitheatre; Space Oddity, Green Today and Faux Fighters headed to The Hangar this summer
Costa Mesa, Calif. (April 29, 2019) – Taking the last open spot in the Toyota Summer Concert Series at Pacific Amphitheatre during the 2019 OC Fair, Brandi Carlile will perform on July 17, with special guest David Rosales.
Three-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, performer and producer Brandi Carlile is currently in the midst of a landmark year following the release of her Grammy award-winning album, By The Way, I Forgive You. Of Carlile’s breakthrough performance of her song “The Joke” during this year’s live Grammy broadcast, the New York Times proclaimed, “Carlile’s vocals were robust, ragged, full of sneer and hope.”
On Sept. 7, Pacific Symphony will present the Tchaikovsky Spectacular as part of their SummerFest concert series. The performance is the finale for both SummerFest as well as Pacific Amphitheatre’s concert season.
Finally, the OC Fair announces two more concerts headed to The Hangar this summer: Space Oddity will celebrate the 45th anniversary of David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs on Aug. 9, and Green Today – A Tribute to Green Day with Faux Fighters – A Tribute to Foo Fighters will perform on Aug. 10. These shows complete the 23-night lineup of exciting performances in The Hangar during the 2019 OC Fair.
