What’s happening at OC Fair & Event Center

♦ Nov. 29-Dec. 13: Magic Christmas Tree Lot

Pick from some of the greenest and freshest Christmas trees around at Magic Trees, the annual tree lot at OC Fair & Event Center, on the corner of Arlington and Fairview.

Hours: Open daily, Nov 29-Dec. 13, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Cost: Free admission; prices for trees vary.

♦ Dec. 1-2: Flying Miz Daisy vintage market

Shop from the best vintage exhibitors on the West Coast selling unique goods, all under one roof. A one-of-a-kind event makes this two-day market a can’t-miss shopping destination for everyone!

Hours: Friday & Saturday, Dec. 1-2, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Cost: $8 general admission; $5 senior (65+); children 12 & under are free. (Admission is good for both days.) Parking is $8.

♦ Dec. 1-3: Gem Faire

Fine jewelry, precious and semi-precious gemstones, millions of beads, crystals, minerals and more at manufacturer’s prices. Featuring nearly 200 exhibitors.

Hours: Friday, Dec. 1, noon-6 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

♦ Dec. 7: Costa Mesa’s 4th Annual Home for the Holidays Home & Design Tour

This fourth annual event will feature a stop at OC Fair & Event Center’s Heroes Hall, and proceeds will benefit Heroes Hall, Costa Mesa High School Arts and other charitable causes. Guests can shop for holiday gifts, hear from design experts and more.

Hours: Thursday, Dec. 7, 3-8 p.m. (reception at Pottery Barn at South Coast Plaza from 6 to 8 p.m. with student performances at 7 p.m.)

♦ Dec. 7: Fight Club OC

Boxing and MMA together on the same night, inside the same ring.

Hours: Thursday, Dec. 7, 7-10 p.m. (happy hour specials from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.)
Cost: $60 admission (standing room-only tickets are $30 and sold after seats sell out). Parking is $8.

♦ Dec. 18-21: Share Our Selves Annual Adopt-A-Family Program

The Adopt-A-Family program will connect donors with more than 1,500 families with children recommended by Costa Mesa and Santa Ana organizations and schools. This is the program’s 48th year.

Hours: Monday-Thursday, Dec. 18-21, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Cost: Free admission or all volunteers and staff

♦ Dec. 21-Jan. 7: Winter Fest OC

SoCal’s ultimate winter experience is returning, blowing in tons of family fun and date night charm. The fest will feature a winter wonderland of attractions, including a 150-foot ice tubing slide, snow play, ice skating, rides, nightly fireworks and more.

Hours: Open every day from Dec. 21, 2017 to Jan. 7, 2018; hours vary.

♦ Dec. 30-31: Resolution NYE

Social Management Group and Weedmaps are teaming up to produce the biggest 21+ New Year’s Eve event yet in Orange County. Two nights on two stages with a huge talent line-up featuring Young The Giant, Dirty Heads, Seven Lions, Illenium, Slander and more.

Hours: Saturday, Dec. 30, 7 p.m.-midnight & Sunday, Dec. 31, 8 p.m.-1:30 a.m.
Cost: $50 general admission; VIP tickets are available for $100+. Parking is $10.
