Headed to Pacific Amphitheatre this summer: Lindsey Stirling with ZZ Ward, George Thorogood & The Destroyers with Walter Trout, and Pacific Symphony’s July 4 Spectacular and Star Wars In Concert


Costa Mesa, Calif. (April 1, 2019) – The OC Fair has announced four more shows headed to Pacific Amphitheatre this summer. As part of the Toyota Summer Concert Series, Lindsey Stirling with special guest ZZ Ward will perform on Aug. 7, and George Thorogood & The Destroyers with special guest Walter Trout will perform on Aug. 9. Plus, Pacific Symphony’s SummerFest returns with the July 4 Spectacular, featuring Hotel California: A Salute to the Eagles, and continues the summer fun with Star Wars: A New Hope – In Concert on Aug. 17.

The Monster X Tour – Monster Trucks & Tuff Trucks returns to Action Sports Arena during the OC Fair, this year bringing seven shows featuring Monster Trucks and Tuff Trucks, July 24-28.

Tickets to these shows go on sale Saturday, April 6, at 10 a.m.

They’ll perform Aug. 9 with support from blues guitarist, singer and songwriter Walter Trout.

This year’s Fourth of July celebration will feature Hotel California: A Salute to The Eagles, a traditional salute to the U.S. armed forces and a fireworks finale.

Pacific Symphony performs John Williams’ legendary score live while the iconic 1977 film is projected on a giant high-definition screen.

The loud, crushing, knockout Monster Truck Destruction Tour returns to Action Sports Arena, this year featuring Monster Trucks and Tuff Trucks as they rumble through seven shows over five days during the 2019 OC Fair.
Reserved seating at Action Sports Arena includes admission to the OC Fair. General admission seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and does not require an additional ticket. All seven Monster Truck shows will also feature a preferred seating ticket, $32.50, which includes a VIP pre-event meet and greet with racers and vehicles.

Tickets to these shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 6. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster and include admission to the 2019 OC Fair. More performances and action sports at the Fair will be announced in the coming months. Sign up for pre-sale emails at ocfair.com/newsletters.

Super Pass holders can purchase tickets to select Pacific Amphitheatre, The Hangar and Action Sports Arena performances at a two-for-one discount. The 2019 Super Pass is a season pass that includes admission to all 23 days of the OC Fair, as well as several exclusive discounts, and is on sale now at ocfair.com/superpass.

The 2019 OC Fair is July 12-Aug. 11, open Wednesday-Sunday.

OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa is home to the annual OC Fair and Imaginology. Year-round attractions include Centennial Farm, Table of Dignity, Heroes Hall and Pacific Amphitheatre. Throughout the year, events ranging from recreation shows to cultural festivals are held at the Fairgrounds.
