Island Empire Festival headed to Pacific Amphitheatre this summer; Los Lobos, Queen Nation and Poco with Pure Prairie League to perform at The Hangar during the 2020 OC Fair
Costa Mesa, Calif. (March 9, 2020) – OC Fair has announced a special pre-Fair concert for Saturday, July 11: Island Empire Festival featuring Sammy Johnson, Fiji, Anuhea, Maoli and Analea Brown, hosted by Western Conference (DJ Westafa and Big Body Cisco), with more special guests to be announced.
Plus, coming to The Hangar during the 2020 OC Fair: Los Lobos on Aug. 2, Queen Nation – A Tribute to the Music of Queen on Aug. 5, and Poco with Pure Prairie League on Aug. 9.
Tickets to these shows go on sale Saturday, March 14, at 10 a.m.

Hosted by Western Conference (DJ Westafa and Big Body Cisco), the Island Empire Festival is a special pre-Fair show that will feature an upbeat mix of reggae, soul and R&B from Sammy Johnson, Fiji, Anuhea, Maoli and Analea Brown, with more special guests to be announced.
* This is a pre-Fair show. Guests can bring their concert ticket to any one day of the 2020 OC Fair (July 17-Aug. 16, open Wednesday-Sunday) for FREE admission.
Los Lobos

Get ready for a party with Los Lobos, the East Los Angeles-based rock band that comes with the sounds of Tex-Mex, country, R&B and blues, featuring original members David Hidalgo, Louie Perez, Cesar Rosas and Conrad Lozano, and longtime keyboardist Steve Berlin.
Queen Nation – A Tribute to the Music of Queen
Wednesday, Aug. 5, 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20-$25
The legend of Queen comes alive with this tribute starring Gregory Finsley on vocals as Freddie Mercury, Mike McManus on guitar as Brian May, Pete Burke on drums as Roger Taylor and Parker Combs on bass as John Deacon.
Poco with Pure Prairie League
Sunday, Aug. 9, 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20-$30
The country rock band is back at the OC Fair on Aug. 9! Featuring original member Rusty Young with Jack Sundrud, Rick Lonow and Lex Browning, Poco will perform favorites like “Crazy Love,” “You Better Think Twice” and “Here We Go Again.” Pure Prairie League will make the night even more special with songs like “Amie” and “Let Me Love You Tonight.”
