June events at OC Fair & Event Center
COSTA MESA (May 25, 2018) – OC Fair & Event Center hosts more than 150 year-round events throughout the fairgrounds. Here’s what’s coming up throughout June.
♦ June 2: Costa Mesa Speedway – Harley Night #1 / Sidecars
Featuring exciting, colorful and unpredictable live action, Costa Mesa Speedway has put fans in the hot seat from the comfort of arena-style grandstand seating since 1969. This will be the first Harley Night of the season.
Hours: Saturday, June 2, 7:30 p.m.
Cost: $20 general admission, $15 seniors (65+), $15 juniors (ages 13-17), $10 children (ages 3-12), free for kids 2 and younger. Parking is $8.

♦ June 2-3: Crossroads of the West Gun Show
Two-day gun and western Americana show with guns, accessories, tactical gear, ammunition, safes, personal protection products and more.
Hours: Saturday, June 2, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. & Sunday, June 3, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Cost: $18 general admission; children 12 and younger are free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parking is $8.

♦ June 7: Fight Club OC
Pro boxing and MMA show featuring a 40-foot big screen with instant replay, an outdoor cigar lounge, 14 VIP Suites and exciting bouts fans can’t find anywhere else.
Hours: Thursday, June 7, 7-10:30 p.m. (Happy Hour specials from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.)
Cost: $60 general admission. Parking is $8.

♦ June 9: Food Preservation Workshop – Cherry Chutney
In this introductory hands-on lesson in safety standards and steam canning high-acid foods, guests will learn how to make three jars of cherry chutney to enjoy at home, give as a gift or enter in the 2018 OC Fair. Youth ages 9-17 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a registered adult. Class size is limited to 25 participants, so sign up early.
Hours: Saturday, June 9, 9:30 a.m
Cost: $25 fee covers the cost of materials and/or handouts. Bring three half-pint canning jars with lids and rings.

♦ June 9-10: Flying Miz Daisy Vintage Market
At Flying Miz Daisy, the goal is to bring together the best vintage exhibitors on the West Coast selling unique goods, all under one roof. Shoppers can browse styled and curated spaces for all things vintage, from clothes to furniture and everything in between.
Hours: Saturday & Sunday, June 9-10, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Cost: $8 general admission; $5 senior (65+); free for children 12 and younger. Admission is good for both days. Parking is $8

♦ June 10: Bride World Expo
OC’s Bridal Super Show with up to 150 florists, photographers, DJs, wedding venues, photo booths, invitations, decor ideas, honeymoon packages, fashion shows, a gown sale and DIY seminars. Meet local experts and find amazing wedding planning values.
Hours: Sunday, June 10, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Fashion shows held at noon and 2 p.m., DIY Planning Seminar at 1 p.m.
Cost: $12 general admission; free for active military with ID and children age 12 and younger. Parking is $8 (enter at Gate 8).

♦ June 15-17: OC Night Market
Produced by 626 Night Market, OC Night Market features 200+ food, merchandise, crafts, arts, games, music, and entertainment attractions in an epic event that appeals to all ages.
Hours: Friday & Saturday, June 15-16, 4 p.m.-midnight, and Sunday, June 17, 4-11 p.m.
Cost: $5 general admission; children 3 and under are free. Parking is $8.

♦ June 16: Truck Adventures for Kids
This unique fun-filled event will bring families and children together in the community. Children of all ages will be able to get up-close-and-personal with all types of trucks and other exciting vehicles they see every day on the road. Fire trucks, police cars, construction vehicles and many more will be on display for children to see, explore, sit in the driver’s seat and talk to the individuals who drive these vehicles.
Hours: Saturday, June 16, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Cost: $15 admission, $8 parking

♦ July 13-Aug. 12, 2018: OC Fair
Get ready for 23 days of fun at the 2018 OC Fair, where you can “Free Your Inner Farmer” and enjoy all the rides, food, games and entertainment you can handle. Tickets for performances are on sale now at pacamp.com.
Cost: $12-$14 general admission / $7 senior (60+) and youth (ages 6-12) / free for children 5 and younger. Parking is $10.
