OC Fair Announces Monster Truck Dates Plus Live Musical Acts for 2017 Season

Costa Mesa, Calif. (March 7, 2017) – The OC Fair announced a full week of monster truck craziness for the 2017 season in the Action Sports Arena plus more music tributes in The Hangar. As always, concert and action sports tickets include Fair admission. Tickets for select events are on sale March 11.
Monster truck and motocross fans will have 7 chances to get their fill of excitement at the Action Sports Arena with the return of Monster Truck Destruction Tour – Monster Trucks and FMX from Wednesday, July 26 through Sunday, July 30. Reserved seats for events in the Action Sports Arena include free OC Fair admission. There is limited free seating available with Fair admission on a first-come, first-seated basis at these events.
In The Hangar, the OC Fair announced the return of three hit tribute bands performing outstanding tributes to some of rock, pop and metal music. Hotel California – A Salute to The Eagles will offer a lively and accurate tribute to the hit rock band on Thursday, July 20. Then on Thursday, August 3, Bees Gees Gold – A Tribute to The Bee Gees will hit all the right notes for pop fans. Lastly on Friday, August 4, headbangers will reign in The Hangar with the return of Damage Inc. – Southern California’s Metallica Tribute Band.
Tickets for these events go on sale Saturday, March 11, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster or at the OC Fair & Event Center Box Office, which is open Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone (800) 745-3000.

The 2017 OC Fair is July 14-August 13 and will offer 23 days and nights of food, rides, shopping, exhibits, animals and headline performances in the Pacific Amphitheatre, nightly music in The Hangar and adrenaline-inducing events in the Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday. Tickets are available for purchase at ocfair.com or from the on-site Box Office (limited hours.) Free parking and shuttle service are available on Saturdays and Sundays from the Experian parking structure located off the Bristol St. exit of the 405 freeway.
