OC Fair Announces Performances by Mariachi Sol de Mexico, Metalachi & A Musical Tribute to Led Zeppelin Plus Rodeo Dates for 2017 Season

Costa Mesa, Calif. (March 21, 2017) – The OC Fair announced returning favorites for The Hangar and a full week of rodeo events in the Action Sports Arena. As always, concert and action sports tickets include Fair admission. Tickets for select events are on sale March 25.
In The Hangar, fans will welcome the return of Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez for a two-show appearance on Sunday, August 6. Metal fans can look forward to unique tribute performances from Metalachi – The World’s Only Heavy Metal Mariachi Band on Sunday, July 23 and Zeppelin Live – A Live Rock Tribute to Led Zeppelin on Saturday, August 5.
Cowboys and cowgirls will mount up for five days of rodeo action in the Action Sports Arena with the return of the outrageous acts of Extreme Rodeo on Wednesday, August 2 and Friday, August 4, the traditional rodeo events of Broncs & Bulls on Thursday, August 3 and Saturday, August 5 and the beauty and skill of Fiesta del Charro on Sunday, August 6. There is limited free seating available with Fair admission on a first-come, first-seated basis at these Arena events.
Tickets for these events go on sale Saturday, March 25, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com, any Ticketmaster outlet or by phone (800) 745-3000. The OC Fair & Event Center is closed March 25 and the onsite Box Office will not be open for ticket sales.

The 2017 OC Fair is July 14-August 13 and will offer 23 days and nights of food, rides, shopping, exhibits, animals and headline performances in the Pacific Amphitheatre, nightly music in The Hangar and adrenaline-inducing events in the Action Sports Arena. The Fair is open Wednesday-Sunday. Tickets are available for purchase at ocfair.com or from the on-site Box Office (limited hours.) Free parking and shuttle service are available on Saturdays and Sundays from the Experian parking structure located off the Bristol St. exit of the 405 freeway.
