OC Fair & Event Center January 2017 Events Calendar Features Events for Parents, Brides, Musicians and More


Costa Mesa, Calif. (January 2017) – The OC Fair & Event Center is home to a variety of events throughout the year. Here is the current January 2017 events calendar:

7 BrideWorld Expo
Shop and compare 150 bridal salons, florists, photo booths, photographers, disc jockeys, wedding venues, invitations, vintage decor and great bridal beauty style tips, custom invitations, romantic honeymoons destinations, and the best wedding values.
Hours: Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

14 Baby & Kids Experience
One-day interactive, educational and consumer event for parents, babies and kids.
Hours: Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

14-15 Great Train Show
Two-day train show for children of all ages plus modelers, collectors and enthusiasts, families and for the simply curious. Each show features hundreds of tables of trains, accessories, scale models and collectible toys for sale as well as huge operating exhibits, activities for kids, free seminars and educational opportunities.
Hours: Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

21 Centennial Farm Garden Class – Fruit Tree Pruning
Learn the art of pruning in this hands-on, how-to learning experience. This class will cover the basics of pruning: from why we prune to how to successfully begin pruning. Leave with the knowledge and even some pruning tools to help you begin pruning at home.
Hours: Saturday 9:30 a.m. (Classes last 1.5-2 hours unless otherwise specified.)

21-22 SoCal World Guitar Show
New, used, old and rare musical equipment swap meet with retail stores, vintage dealers, manufacturers, collectors, builders, appraisers and parts purveyors plus clothing, books, guitars, amplifiers, banjos, mandolins, violins and more.
Hours: Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

21-22 Crossroads of the West Gun Show
Two-day gun and western Americana show with guns, accessories, tactical gear, ammunition, safes, personal protection products and more.

27-29 UVSA TET Festival
Lunar New Year Festival where visitors are immersed in a vibrant array of traditional foods, contests, live entertainment, cultural displays and carnival celebrating the new year.
Hours: Friday 4-10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

28 Centennial Farm Garden Class – Urban Chickens Demystified (Beginner)
Therry Vargas and Lindsey Koob will focus on what is needed to raise healthy, happy and productive backyard chickens for beginners.

Centennial Farm
Three-acre working farm designed to educate youth and their families about agriculture and its importance to daily life with fruit and vegetable gardens, livestock and the Millennium Barn.
