COSTA MESA (Sept. 9, 2021) – More than 3,000 entries were accepted as part of the 2021 OC Fair Competitions, a highly anticipated aspect of the annual county fair. After various bouts of judging, which began in May, OC Fair and OC Wine Society issued about 1,445 awards to Orange County and Long Beach residents, and an additional 735 to participants from other parts of Southern California.

There was at least one winner from nearly every O.C. city, but the most came out of Fullerton – 69 winners included Dorothy Birsic, who earned awards in Home Arts & Crafts, Horticulture and Culinary Arts, and Max and Mike Horan, who both earned awards in Livestock.

Other categories include Visual Arts, Table Settings, Competitions and Home Wine. The OC Wine Society coordinates the Home Wine competition in addition to their Commercial Wine competition (the latter is not included in list of winners below).

All awards issued to Orange County and Long Beach residents are listed below by city then participant. Type of award(s) earned in a particular category is followed by Division and Class information.
