Second Stray Cats show added, Al Stewart joins Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson, and Pacific Symphony brings Tchaikovsky to Pacific Amphitheatre this summer


Also announcing 2018 OC Fair performances at The Hangar by Totally Go-Go’s with Idol X and Devotional with Hollywood Erasure.

Costa Mesa, Calif. (April 30, 2018) – By popular demand, Pacific Amphitheatre has added a second Stray Cats show to the summer lineup this year. Also, the previously announced Roger Hodgson has added special guest Al Stewart to its July 25 date, as part of the 2018 Toyota Summer Concert Series at Pacific Amphitheatre. To help close out the sizzling summer, Pacific Symphony will bring the Tchaikovsky Fireworks Spectacular to Pacific Amphitheatre on Sept. 9.

Additionally, the OC Fair announces performances at The Hangar by tribute bands Totally Go-Go’s with Idol X on Aug. 9, and Devotional with Hollywood Erasure on Aug. 10.

Tickets for these shows go on sale Saturday, May 5, at 10 a.m.

Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson with special guest Al Stewart

As announced in February, the voice of Supertramp, Roger Hodgson, will bring fan favorites on July 25 – and now he will be joined by folk-rock singer-songwriter Al Stewart, whose greatest hits include “Year of the Cat,” “Time Passages” and “On the Border.”

Rock out to the hits of the Go-Go’s with Totally Go-Go’s – A Musical Tribute featuring hits like “We Got the Beat” and “Our Lips Are Sealed.” They’ll be joined at The Hangar by Idol X – The Billy Idol Live Experience, paying tribute to Billy Idol and Generation X.

Second date added, by popular demand! Stray Cats, the band that put Rockabilly back on the charts in the early 80’s, will hit the stage for two post-Fair shows this summer. The two shows will happen Aug. 16 and 17; the latter was originally announced in March.

Freddie Morales will bring his Dave Gahan-like moves to The Hangar with Devotional – The Ultimate Depeche Mode Tribute Show. They’ll be joined by Hollywood Erasure, in tribute to the synthpop duo.

Pacific Symphony – Tchaikovsky Fireworks Spectacular
Sept. 8, 8 p.m. at Pacific Amphitheatre

Celebrate the summer’s end with Thaikovsky’s “1812” overture, as well as the composer’s greatest hits.
