Upcoming June events at OC Fair & Event Center


Costa Mesa, Calif. (May 26, 2022) –The month of June brings a packed schedule to the fairgrounds in anticipation for the upcoming OC Fair. The myriad eye-catching events offered this month range from Fight Club OC to the return of the 626 Night Market!

♦ Scottish Fest, May 28-29

Scottish Fest is Southern California’s largest Scottish, Celtic, American Festival. Experience two days of world-class Celtic music, piping and drumming competitions, Highland dancing contests, Scottish heavy athletics, Scottish gifts and foods, Scottish clans and genealogy, a fantastic children’s glen and so much more!

Hours: Saturday, May 28, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. & Sunday, May 29, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
How much: $30 general one-day admission, $26 seniors (62+), $5 for children 12 & younger, free for children 5 & younger, free for military and first responders. Parking is $10.

♦ Fight Club OC, June 2

Pro Boxing & MMA live. The most fun you can have on a Thursday night in the OC!

Hours: Thursday, June 2 – doors open at 6 p.m., first bout at 7 p.m.

How much: $60-$200 tickets available via Fight Club OC. Parking is $10: enter at Gate 8.

♦ OC Fair’s Job Fair, June 4

We are NOW HIRING! Join us for a job fair to learn about the 1,500+ openings for ages 16 and up. We’ll be conducting walk-up interviews. Resumes recommended but not required. Bring family and friends who are looking for a fun summer job!

Hours: Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where on the fairgrounds: Lot F
How much: Free admission and parking; enter at Gate 4 off Arlington.

♦ SoCal World Guitar Show, June 4-5

International buy-sell-trade event for guitars, amplifiers and other musical gear. Vendors and buyers from across the country and around the world come to buy sell and trade with each other and public attendees. Public attendees may bring all the musical gear they can carry to sell, trade or have appraised.

When: Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 10 a.m-4 p.m.

♦ Costa Mesa Speedway: Harley Night, June 4

Harley Night #1 / Speedway / Sidecars

When: Saturday, June 4 – gates open at 5:30 p.m. / Qualifying 6 p.m. / First Race 7:30 p.m.
Where on the fairgrounds: OC Fair & Event Center – Action Sports Arena
How much: $20 general admission; $10 for kids ages 3-12; free for kids 2 and younger. Parking is $10.

♦ The Classic – Volkswagen and Porsche Car Show, June 5

The Classic is a Volkswagen and Porsche Car Show and display. The Classic will have new part vendors displaying and selling their products from the VW and lifestyle industry, and will feature a large swap meet area for selling used VW automotive-related items.
Raffle tickets available for purchase to win prizes from leading vendors.

When: Sunday, June 5, 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
How much: $20 general admission, $10 for children ages 6-12. Spectator parking is $10. Prices for participation: $25 show car and driver; $40 swap meet space and driver; $50 swap meet space and driver with truck & trailer; $100 new parts vendor.

♦ Michelada Throwdown, June 11

Join the creators of the Original O.C. Swap Meet as they bring you SoCal’s best Michelada mixes, a car exhibition, food, games and live music!

♦ Costa Mesa Speedway, June 11

The most exciting, colorful and unpredictable live action racing event in the nation. Costa Mesa Speedway has put fans right on top of all the action from the comfort of Arena style grandstand seating since 1969. Suitable for the whole family.

♦ The Original O.C. Swap Meet, June 12

This event was created to provide a space for local small businesses and the community to come together in an outdoor setting. The swap meet showcases products and goods for all to buy and enjoy.

♦ 626 Night Market OC, June 17-19

626 Night Market is back! The festival features 200+ food, merchandise, crafts, arts, games, music and entertainment attractions in an epic event that appeals to all ages.

Hours: Friday, 4-11 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday, 1-11 p.m.
Where on the fairgrounds: OC Promenade, Lot G and Lot I

♦ Repticon, June 18-19

Repticon Los Angeles is a reptile event featuring vendors offering reptile pets, supplies, feeders, cages, and merchandise as well as live animal seminars and frequent free raffles for coveted prizes. Exciting, educational, family-oriented fun for everyone!

♦ Speaker Series #6 at Heroes Hall Museum, June 18

Heroes Hall Museum presents its speaker series, which will run through September on select Saturday mornings. The series is about the tremendous achievements and challenges Black service members and other groups have faced while serving in the U.S. armed forces, and is hosted in conjunction with the museum’s newest exhibit, Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II.

Our Service, Our Stories: The LGBT Military Experience
In celebration of Pride Month in June, the Fighting for the Right to Fight Speaker Series will feature the documentary film Our Service, Our Stories followed by a panel discussion with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) military veterans. The veterans will share their experiences serving in the U.S. armed forces from the Vietnam era through the conflicts in the Middle East. They will address a variety of topics including the challenges they faced as LGBT service members, the devastating impacts of the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy, and how to right the wrong.

♦ OC Fair Board of Directors meeting, June 23

OC Fair’s Board of Directors typically meets monthly in the Administration Building at OC Fair & Event Center. The agenda and location for this meeting will be available later in the month at ocfair.com/public-information/public-meetings.

The public is invited to the Board meetings, which begin at 9:30 a.m. Each meeting will also be recorded and posted on our website afterward.

♦ TNT Fireworks Stand, June 30- July 4

Costa Mesa High School Baseball will be selling TNT Fireworks at this annual fundraiser.

Hours: June 30, noon-10 p.m.; July 1-3, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; and July 4, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

Free COVID testing on the fairgrounds.

Visit our museum to view the latest exhibits and learn about local veterans.

♦ Farmers Market – Every Thursday

Shop local at this OC Farm Bureau-certified farmers market featuring produce, fresh flowers, fish, hummus, honey, hot sauce and more. Some vendors also sell hot food for lunch such as tamales and tacos/burritos.

Visit our three-acre working farm, which features seasonal crops, farm animals and knowledgeable staff.

Hours: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Wednesdays & Thursdays, 11 a.m.-midnight Fridays-Sundays
How much: Pricing is the same as 2021. Tickets are $12 on Wednesday & Thursday, $14 on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. $7 for kids (ages 6-12) & seniors (60+) any day; free for children 5 and younger. Parking is $10.

Tickets to performances in Action Sports Arena, The Hangar and Pacific Amphitheatre that occur during the 2022 OC Fair include same-day Fair admission.
