What’s going on at the OC Fairgrounds in February

Repticon, Feb. 4-5

Repticon is a reptile event featuring vendors offering reptile pets, supplies, feeders, cages and merchandise as well as live animal seminars and frequent free raffles for coveted prizes. Exciting, educational, family-oriented fun for everyone.

When: Saturday, Feb. 4, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 5, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: OC Fair & Event Center – Huntington Beach Building

How much: $13 general admission, $6 child admission, free for children ages 4 & younger. Parking is $12.

Great Train Show, Feb. 11-12

Great American Train Shows is the nation’s only coast-to-coast train show company. The shows are designed for the general public, modelers, hobbyists, families and the just plain curious. Each show features hundreds of tables of trains and accessories for sale, huge operating exhibits, activities for kids and more. All scales are welcome as are books, video and railroadiana. 

When: Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 11-12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: OC Fair & Event Center – Costa Mesa & Huntington Beach buildings

How much:

$12 – Saturday admission (Saturday ticket is good for both days)

$11 – Sunday admission

Free for children 11 and younger. Parking is $12.

Fight Club OC, Feb. 16


Pro Boxing & MMA live. The most fun you can have on a Thursday night in the OC!

When: Thursday, Feb. 16 – doors open at 6 p.m., first fight at 7 p.m. (Baja Blues happy hour is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.)

SoCal Swordfight, Feb. 17-19

SoCal Swordfight is the largest historical European martial arts event in the United States attracting competitors, attendees and instructors from around the world. The event features 15 tournaments across multiple weapon sets and divisions, more than 80 hours of classes and lectures on the use of a variety of historical and modern weapons and self-defense techniques, first aid/CPR/AED and Active Shooter Response Certification, antique weapons and much more.

When: Friday, Feb. 17, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 18, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 19, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Where: OC Fair & Event Center – Costa Mesa Building and Santa Ana Pavilion

How much: $20 – Single-day spectator pass

$40 – Full-weekend spectator pass

$150 – Full-event registration and access to classes

Gran Baile Romántico Concert, Feb. 18

A Hispanic Valentines concert featuring musical acts from Industria del amor, Grupo Liberación, Ángeles de Charlie and more.

46th Annual Home & Garden Show, Feb. 25-26

Featuring home improvement products and services, garden supplies and displays with new water saving garden products, hourly DIY workshops and prizes.

When: Saturday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 26, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Farmers Market every Thursday

Shop local at this OC Farm Bureau-certified farmers market featuring produce, fresh flowers, fish, hummus, honey, hot sauce and more. Some vendors also sell hot food for lunch such as tamales and tacos/burritos.

Centennial Farm open daily

Visit our three-acre working farm, which features seasonal crops, farm animals and knowledgeable staff.


Hours: Monday-Friday, 1 p.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (see calendar for closures)

Heroes Hall Museum open Wed.-Sun.

Exhibit: ‘Armed Only With A Camera’ through Sept. 2023

The World War II Photography of Stanley Troutman is now on display at Heroes Hall. Troutman served his country by photographing the war in the South Pacific Theater including the devastated cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Pacific Coast Sportfishing Tackle, Boat, Travel and Outdoor Show, March 2-5

Southern California’s Premier Outdoors Show will again bring a great selection of top boats, tackle, and travel destinations. Looking for a new boat, fishing tackle, or to plan the trip of a lifetime? Don’t miss this show! There will be tons of fun for the family as well including a free kids trout pond.
