VOICES: Veterans Storytelling Project
Veterans Voices is a collaboration between Arts OC and Heroes Hall Museum and Education Center that pairs veterans an experienced artist who will help them craft and present their stories.
This performance will feature:
- Elizbeth Rocha of Orange, a former Sergeant, who served in U.S. Marine Corps, 2015-2020.
- Jersoon Nieto of Baldwin Park, a former Sergeant, who served in the U.S. Army from 2015-2023.
- Khang Phi of Anaheim, a former Specialist, who served in the U.S. Army from 2004-2007.
- Tori Rhoades, a former Corporal, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1994-2000.
They will be joined on stage by Giovanni Berdejo-Gallegos, a former Sergeant who served in the US Army from 2002- 2010. Former Sergeant Berdejo-Gallegos is the author of One Angry Veteran and told his own Voices story in 2020.
When: Saturday, May 13, 5-7 p.m.
