OC Fair wins 16 industry awards from Western Fairs Association
OC Fair & Event Center earned 16 Achievement Awards from the Western Fairs Association for work done in 2023, including nine first-place honors.
The annual program recognizes innovation and excellence among fairs and festivals in the Western U.S.
OC Fair & Event Center also received six second-place awards and one third-place honor.
Four of the first-place awards recognized achievement in marketing categories including overall fair marketing campaign, TV advertising, fair logo and theme program.
First-place honors also went to the OC Fair’s Hispanic Heritage Month cultural exhibit, Centennial Farm’s volunteer program, Heroes Hall exhibit Armed Only with a Camera, The Art of Music Experience partnership and agricultural programming for the Farm to Fashion exhibit.
Second-place awards were received for a special event logo (Every Day Passport), fair program, new fairtime exhibit (Bug Bizarre), Junior Livestock Auction, solving a display challenge and innovative display. The fair poster was awarded third place honors.
The Western Fairs Association presented the awards for 2023 achievements its annual conference this month in Anaheim.
