The International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA) celebrated the people and organizations shaping the live entertainment business on Oct. 6 during its 2026 Honors & Awards event at its annual conference in Nashville.
OC Fair’s Lisa Sexton won the entertainment buyer of the year award in the fairs/expos category. Sexton is in charge of procuring headline entertainment and opening acts for the fair’s Pacific Amphitheatre, a popular 8,000+-seat venue that hosted sold-out shows this year including Midland, Trevor Noah and Rebelution.
The IEBA event celebrated the professionals working behind the scenes to bring live entertainment to audiences around the world. IEBA’s annual Industry Awards, voted on by the association’s membership, recognize outstanding achievement among venues, talent buyers, agents, promoters, festivals, fairs and other leaders throughout the business.
The OC Fair was also a finalist in the fair/expo of the year category.
