OC Fair & Event Center joins statewide resiliency network for emergency response

OC Fair & Event Center has joined the California Emergency Response and Resiliency Venues and Fairgrounds (CERRVF), a statewide coalition working to strengthen emergency preparedness and resiliency at fairgrounds and event venues across California.

“Our role goes far beyond hosting events,” said OC Fair & Event Center CEO James Canfield. “Joining CERRVF is part of ensuring that Orange County has a trusted community resource ready to respond in times of crisis.”

CERRVF is a statewide coalition dedicated to enhancing preparedness and resiliency across California’s fairgrounds and event centers. CERRVF fosters collaboration, training and resource-sharing to ensure these venues can effectively support communities during emergencies and disasters while continuing to serve as centers for business, culture, education and celebration.
