Winter Fest OC, through Jan. 5

Winter Fest OC returns to bring the ultimate winter wonderland to Orange County! Over a million lights create this dazzling holiday scene, transforming the OC Fair & Event Center into an enchanted dream! Enjoy magical snowfall, thrilling rides, festive entertainment and delightful treats and eats. From ice skating under the stars to exploring whimsical holiday displays, there’s something for everyone!

When: Through Jan. 5, 2025

Where: OC Fair & Event Center – Lot A

How much: Early bird admission is available for a limited time, starting at $30 for adults, $25 for children 3-12, free for children under 2. General admission prices increase on Nov. 21. Parking is $12.

Fight Club OC, Dec. 5

Series of six boxing and MMA fights, presented by Roy Englebrecht Promotions.

When: Thursday, Dec. 5

Schedule:

Baja Bar & Grill Happy Hour, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Hangar doors open at 6 p.m.

First fight starts at 7 p.m.

Gem Faire, Dec. 6 – 8

Shop fine jewelry, precious and semi-precious gemstones, millions of beads, crystals, gold and silver, pearls, minerals, fossils and much more at manufacturer prices. Jewelry repair, cleaning and ring sizing while you shop.

Centennial Farm Workshop: Make It, Take It – DIY Winter Wreaths, Dec. 7

Embrace the magic of the holiday season by creating a fresh winter wreath in the beautiful Millennium Barn at Centennial Farm! This class has become a tradition at Centennial Farm and will surely be a memorable activity for friends and family to join in on! All fresh greens, materials and instructions for this hands-on course will be provided to make a delightful wreath.

When: Saturday, Dec. 7, RSVP online by Nov. 30

Session I: 9:30 a.m. – noon

Session II: 1 – 3:30 p.m.

How much: $75 fee covers materials and any handouts. Ribbon and décor selection will be limited – feel free to bring your own to personalize your winter wreath. We recommend participants bring their own pruners and gloves. Parking is free.

Creative Babe Holiday Market, Dec. 7

Visit this free, family-friendly holiday event with 100+ local vendors to score your holiday gifts. Find plants, ceramics, candles, jewelry, soaps and scrubs, crystals, art, pins and stickers, graphic tees, paper goods, pet treats and more! Enjoy face painting, food trucks, photo ops with Bluey and more!

Centennial Farm Workshop: Make It, Take It – DIY Floral Holiday Centerpieces, Dec. 14

Centennial Farm Workshop: Truffle Making – Cocoa Couture for Your Holiday Party!, Dec. 21

Calling all chocoholics! What could be better than making and eating chocolate? Let’s take your chocolate obsession to the next level with this hands-on class taught by chef Vina at Centennial Farm. You’ll learn about chocolate’s origin, how to make your ganache and decorate with gourmet toppings.

In this two-hour class, we’ll measure, melt, mix, chill and roll truffles made with fair-trade cacao chocolate and silky cream. It’s sure to be a delicious experience to share with your loved one, friend or coworker, and just in time for the holidays! We will also provide gift boxes and ribbons to pack your scrumptious treats!

When: Saturday, Dec. 21, 10 a.m. – noon; RSVP online by Dec. 14.

How much: $45 class fee covers ingredients and the use of equipment. Aprons are highly recommended. Tied-back hair and closed-toed shoes are required. Parking is free.

Centennial Farm

Centennial Farm is home to fruit and vegetable gardens, livestock and the Millennium Barn. Two youth educational tour programs are offered – Discovery Days and Jr. Farmer Tours – as well as year-round daily hours so the public can visit the farm.

Farmers Market

Shop local at this OC Farm Bureau-certified farmers market featuring produce, fresh flowers, fish, hummus, honey, hot sauce and more. Some vendors also sell hot food for lunch such as dumplings, burritos and more.

When: Thursdays, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Closed on Nov. 28 and Dec. 26.

Heroes Hall

Heroes Hall is a free, permanent, year-round museum and education center with exhibitions, performances and educational programs that celebrate the legacy of Orange County veterans and others who have served our nation. The two-story exhibition space will rotate themes semi-annually with each focusing on an aspect of the personal stories and experiences of veterans.

SoCAL World Guitar Show, Jan. 25-26

Bring all the musical instruments or related items you can carry to sell, trade or have appraised. Attendees are encouraged to bring a small cart with up to 8 items to roll around the show

See everything from guitars, amps, banjos, mandolins, drums, violins, effects, memorabilia, sound gear, parts, records, books, clothing, accessories, builders, appraisers, repairmen and more!
